Poem: The Anthem Of Okob Marah

My eyes bathed in tears
As I watched their senseless actions.
In their hellish drills, many lost loved ones.
In that state of mental tortures,
I came across their anthem which read:

‘‘Yes, we spill human blood with thrill.
The blood of animals is eternally bad
To appease the fiery thirst of our lord of peace.
Until all the land is ceded to our command,
AIREGIN should prepare for more attrition.
To the infidels, by pain will they be made faithfuls.
In massacre shall we promote the name of HALLA.
For in him is redemption for all human transgression.

Arise, you believers for the sake of the sacred AIRAHS.
Terrorise them until they have had their fill.
Western influence must be opposed with death offerings.
Our own who seem cold to our course, painfully disown.
In unity we ride to our destiny.’’

My heart cried out in pain
As man maimed his fellow man,
All in the name of religion.
If your HALLA is alive,
Fight not for him with your life.
