Obey Laws Of The Land, Tema Mantse Tells Koreans

Tema (GAR), June 20, - Nii Adjei Kraku the second, Tema Mantse, yesterday asked members of the Korean Association in Tema to comport themselves and to respect the laws of the land. Speaking to executive members of the reorganised Korean Association in Tema during a courtesy call on him at his palace, he said some Koreans have children with Ghanaian women but they are refusing to cater for them. This irresponsibility renders the children wayward making them liabilities not rpt not only to their mothers but the nation as a whole. Nii Kraku reminded them that they could be penalised if they fail to adhere to the laws of the land. He hoped they would comport themselves to strengthen the already cordial relations between Ghana and Korea. He asked the new executive officers to continue with the good work of their predecessors led by the late Bob Nam Kim, Executive Chairman of AFKO group of companies. Mr Ui Pyong Hwang, vice president of the association, gave the assurance that they would obey the laws of the country and would ensure that those who have had children with Ghanaian women care for them.
