Nana Addo in Big Trouble

...as group exposes his web of corruption today

National Democratic Congress (NDC) youth activist group known as “The Facts Forum”, has threatened to expose alleged corruption deals involving Nana Akufo-Addo the flagbearer of the NPP, while he was at the Minister of Foreign Affairs under the erstwhile Kufuor administration.

Spokesperson of the group, Mr. Fred Agbenyo, to The Herald in an interview that “the facts forum” had prepared a tall list of high profile corruption deals in which the NPP flagbearer was involved, and would be addressed at a press conference today Monday, October 20.

The group hinted The Herald that they would demand the whereabouts of some missing dockets at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs somewhere in 2005, and how some drug barons were issued diplomatic passports under the watch of NPP’s flagbearer among others.

He told this paper that “voting Akufo-Addo into government in 2013 will be the biggest endorsement and celebration of corruption in Ghana.”

He said “Akufo-Addo and the NPP carried not only the disgraceful title of being the most corrupt government in the history of Ghana, but sadly Ghana’s history is replete with how the NPP institutionalized and decentralized corruption in Ghana”.

Mr. Agbenyo also disclosed that “the FACTS FORUM” has noticed certain changes in the NPP manifesto which he says amounts to contradiction and inconsistency.

According to him, the NPP’s manifesto published on myjoyonline titled “transforming our lives, transforming Ghana”, had been changed to “transforming lives, transforming Ghana” after the former caption had exposed the NPP’s parochial agenda of satisfying themselves first before Ghanaians.

He said the opposition did not include free healthcare for children under the age of 18 in their manifesto, but for desperation and must win “at all cost” reason the NPP has begun to crusade that too.
