NPP Set To Lose General Elections

Considering events that are enfolding prior to the December 7 general elections , all reliable indications point to the fact that, the Flag bearer of the main opposition (NPP) Nana Akuffo Addo would lose these elections to the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) under President John Mahama.
Nana Addo’s previous and recent utterances, postures and unrealistic promises have betrayed him, making him a potential loser ahead of the elections as compared to the performance of the NDC – the incumbent party.
Such infamous statements like “All die be die”, “Yen Akanfo”, incidence at Atiwa by-elections at which he (Nana) jokingly stated, “ye kyere bibi kakra wo ho” meaning “we showed them something small”, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s declaration of war and call for the Gas and Ewes to be butchered, Anthony Karbo’s recent voice on tape, planning to use ‘macho’ men during and after the upcoming elections.
These uncultured pronouncements have already marred Nana’s chances of becoming the next president of the republic of Ghana come December 7.
An old adage says that “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.” It is in that manner that Nana Akuffo Addo did not mind saying things that have severe implications for Ghana at the recent IEA presidential debate.
Since he has made his intentions known to all Ghanaians that he must be president ‘at all cost’, he does not care making unrealistic promises like the free SHS promise and the building of hostels for the “kayayei” and even resulting to biases and attacks on the NDC government at a platform where all presidential candidates were expected to make peace declarations.
This was evidenced at the University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, where Nana showed gross disrespect for President John Mahama; (himself a presidential candidate), the two former presidents Rawlings and Kufuor as well as to the Asantehene Osei Tutu II who organized the event.
President John Mahama, on his part, has always been exhibiting high sense of maturity and responsibility on all campaign platforms. Ghanaians have branded him as a caring, humble, respectful person and a unifier.
In addition, all the projects undertaken in the four years of the Atta Mills – Mahama led administration speak for themselves. A trip across the breadth and length of the country confirms the fact that the Better Ghana Agenda has had an impact on every district.
Needless to mention the warm and gargantuan welcome and crowd that attend rallies whenever H.E John Dramani Mahama visits constituencies on his campaign tour.
What people are saying is that John (JM) has vision and energy and has done a lot within this short period to deserve a one touch victory come Friday, December 7.
Analysts have it that, the results would be one touch in favour of the ruling NDC in order to pave way for the good people of Ghana to celebrate peaceful and joyful Christmas.
