NDC Oils Rigging Machine

THE RULING National Democratic Congress (NDC), in a desperate attempt to hang on to political power at all cost, has allegedly started piling an assortment of ammunitions in a certain chief’s house at Denyame, a serene place in Kumasi.

The NPP MP for Assin North, Kennedy Agyapong, who has lately been unveiling clandestine moves of the NDC, claimed that he was privy to credible information about how the NDC was piling ammunition in a traditional leader’s house for reasons best known to the party.

Speaking on Oman FM’s political programme ‘The Boiling Point’ on Tuesday, the Assin North MP would not mention the name of the said chief in whose house the NDC was piling the offensive weapons, but said the chief was suffering from stroke.

According to him, a son of the said chief, whose house is located at Denyame near the former Ashanti Regional NDC Chairman, Daniel Ohene Agyekum’s house, was spearheading the NDC’s illegal act.

Mr Agyapong alleged that the said chief even owed him huge sums of money and he would soon storm the chief’s place in a brutal style to retrieve his money, stressing that he was closely monitoring the evil deeds of the NDC.

He said the NDC goons behind the piling of ammunitions normally sat in front of a popular drinking spot at Denyame, where they parked their flashy cars and planned their evil works.

Mr Agyapong stated that if the NDC was planning to use force to retain political power after failing to honour its countless promises to Ghanaians, after four years in office, then it should quickly rescind its decision because it would not work.

Asked whether he would report the NDC’s arms piling to the security agencies, he said no, insisting that he had no hope and trust in the National Security, especially its coordinator, Larry Gbevlo-Lartey.

He said he used to trust Gbevlo-Lartey but not anymore, after the Yaw Boateng Gyan secret tape on which the NDC national organiser stated that he would be recruiting staff for the National Security, ahead of the 2012, polls to cause mayhem.

NDC Secret Meeting

Mr Agyapong said he had a copy of minutes taken at a meeting of the NDC held at the Regional Coordinating Council in Kumasi, where Deputy Minister of Information Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa claimed that the NDC should use the special voting to rig the 2012 polls.

According to him, Okudzeto told the NDC members present at the meeting that the ruling political party should formulate lies against the NPP which was now popular in the country with its free SHS policy, in order to discredit it, thereby enhancing the chances of the NDC.

Mr Agyapong alleged that Okudzeto said the NDC members should start lying to the public that if Nana Akufo-Addo won the elections, he would legalize homosexualism, and that the NDC should also lie that the NPP leader did not respect Ashantis.

Okudzeto, the Assin North MP alleged, also entreated the NDC members to start spreading rumours that the NPP was bent on instigating Akans to fight Gas and Ewes when it emerged victorious in the elections.

The NPP guru claimed that the said secret meeting was held on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council where some NDC leaders discussed what they had to do to win the elections at all cost.

Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, Okudzeto Ablakwa, Dr. Omane Boamah, Francis Dodovi, the Ashanti regional minister’s spokesperson, Adu Anane, the Ashanti regional women’s organizer and Appiah Stadium, a former NPP serial caller who recently crossed carpets to the NDC, were said to be present at the meeting.

Francis Dodovi was said to have read the agenda of the crucial meeting which included how to get security to protect the people that would campaign for the NDC during the polls.

The NPP top gun said the NDC had realized that it had failed the populace; therefore it would definitely lose the coming elections so it was trying to use foul means to win.

Agyapong entreated the Muslim and Christian Councils to quickly intervene by condemning the actions of the NDC so as to help make the impending elections incident-free.

NDC Needs 25% In Ashanti

Mr Agyapong said during the said secret meeting, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah said the NDC could only retain political power in December if the party was able to win 25 percent of votes in the Ashanti Region, the strong hold of the NPP.

The NDC man allegedly told his colleagues at the meeting that the party would lose the polls if it failed to win the 25 percent target of the Ashanti regional votes, urging them to do everything possible to win more votes.

Mr. Afriyie Ankrah, the NPP top man alleged, insisted that the NDC had plans of coming out with 50-point lies about the NPP which the party would soon use to campaign in order to paint the NPP black in the eye of the public.

Bribes TESCON

The Assin North MP claimed that he also had credible information to the effect that the NDC was trying to bribe some leading members of TESCON to work against the NPP in the coming polls.

According to him, the NDC was ready to pay huge sums of money to the TESCON members who would be expected to leak vital information about the NPP to the NDC to help the ruling party to retain power.

Shoots Nana

He claimed that as far back as September 2012, a young boy informed him that the NDC was planning to attack NPP members that were outspoken, as a form of intimidation.

Mr Agyapong alleged that as part of the NDC’s grand scheme, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s car would be shot at, close to the December elections, just to put fear in him.

The Assin North MP noted that the NDC was also planning to eliminate leading members of the NPP like himself, stressing that the evil plans of the ruling party would not work.

Free SHS

Mr Agyapong noted that the NDC, which had openly condemned the free SHS of the NPP, was now moving around secondary schools, lying to students that the NDC was the party which would introduce the free education.

He alleged that the NDC hoodlums that were visiting some secondary schools in the Eastern Region were displaying the picture of President John Dramani Mahama to the students, claiming that the president would introduce free education.
