A frustrated and peeved Kumasi Asante Kotoko fan has questioned the quality of attacking midfielder, Kwame Boateng.

The Porcupine Warriors have come in for heavy criticism with recent poor run of form the bane of the team’s decline from a title chasing side in the opening weeks to a side that is now clutching straws to keep hold of a top four place.

Kwame Boateng joined Kotoko from Great Olympics two seasons ago and with high expectations on his shoulder, the young midfielder has struggled to replicate the form that got the Kotoko fans excited when he arrived.

And after dropping points at home yet again this season, an aggrieved fan heaped his anger on Boateng questioning his quality as footballer.

“the football exhibited by the players doesn’t inspire confidence at all. For a player like Kwame Boateng, I can’t even understand him – his tactical quality that does not fall in line with what Kotoko striker should boast of.

“He’s so dull in movement and shows no urgency when playing. We chose to support Kotoko but we will have advice ourselves else we will die before our appointed time.

“the coach has to drop all those players who are under-performing else as supporters we will take a decision, he added.

Kotoko are without a win in their last six league games and are nine points adrift leader’s, WAFA.
