An exclusive Exposition on Health & Fitness is taking place at the Aviation Social Center from August 29 to September 4, 2015 for individuals and companies to display and promote their products and services.

The event is being organised by the Millennium Marathon Sports Limited (MMSL) to sensitize Ghanaians and foreigners on their health and the International Marathon coming off on Saturday, September 5.

According to Mrs. Carthy Morton, a director of the MMSL, already, airlines, sportswear companies, hotels, banks, foods and drinks, supermarkets, oil companies, communications, media and other sectors of the economy are on board and most of them will display their products at the Expo.

She said the Expo is an opportunity for sponsors of the Millennium Marathon to interact with their customers and clients as well as potential customers in a casual atmosphere.

Carthy Morton hinted that the Expo is the venue for collection of kits for the Millennium Marathon and hoped that many people will patronize the Sports and Fitness Fair and learn some tit bits in running.

She advised Ghanaians to register for the Millennium Marathon as there are many gains to be acquired such as winning a brand new car or reducing weight. Or even making new friends Meanwhile, some influential personalities have also been appointed as Ambassadors of the Millennium Marathon; they include diplomats and influential personalities.

MMSL officials have also announced that it is not too late for other companies to join the event and called on Corporate Ghana to support the first international marathon in West Africa.

As a leader in organizing exclusive events in the industry, the Millennium Marathon Company is calling on Ghanaians to be part of the show from August 29 to September 5.

Carthy Morton expressed that another aim of the programme is to raise funds to donate to charity, especially to sickle cell patients and the disabled.

It would be recalled that the Regional Millennium Marathon in Kumasi was spiced by the presence of wheel chair athletes who rode with the marathoners.
