GFA Veep goes to Cape Coast

The Vice President of the Ghana Football Association George Afriyie visited the almost completed Cape Coast stadium on Monday, commending the government for spearheading the construction of the beautiful edifice.

He described the 15000-capacity stadium as a magnificent facility which will not only promote football in the region but also other sporting disciplines.

"I praise the government for putting up such a wonderful edifice in cape coast and I am impressed, " he said.

According to Mr Afriyie, his wish was to have such stadium in all the regional capitals in Ghana and this could go along to help improve sports in Ghana.

The GFA vice capo was in the company of Executive Committee members Madam Leanier Addy and Lawyer Kweku Eyiah, and Isaac Koomson, the Vice President of GHALCA.
