Fatau Dauda insists AshGold can still defend their league title

AshGold shot stopper Fatau Dauda remains optimistic that his side can defend the league title despite their poor start to the season.

The Miners have had a disappointing start to the season winning only two matches with three draws and four losses at 10th position.

But the Black Stars goalie remains positive over the chances of his side to defend the league title.

“We did not start well but we still have a chance of defending our title,” Fatau told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“It is difficult but mathematically we still have a chance of defending our title. We have twenty-one matches and we can still win the league,” he added.

“The point difference between us and the first-place team is ten points which is about four matches.
