EC yet to train officers in Brong Ahafo

With less than a month to December 7, Brong Ahafo Regional Director of Electoral Commission, Mr. George Gyabaah, has said “it is not too late for the training of EC officials to be conducted, adding: “some of the officials will forget about what they will learn from the training session if we conduct it early.”

He indicated that the Brong Ahafo Regional office of the Commission has received some of the logistics for the December 7 general elections.

Mr. George Gyabaah added that they are poised for action.

“We have received ballot boxes, posters; Parliamentary notice of polls and many others…it is left with the register and few security materials. We have finished with Interviews for electoral officials and the training will follow soon,” he told Ark FM in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region.
