Lawyer for four members of the Judicial Staff Association who have been implicated in the latest corruption expose’ in Ghana’s judiciary Egbert Faibille has said showing the video of the alleged malfeasance will affect the sensibilities of children who were captured in it.

According to him, the video evidence captured through the investigative work of journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas unduly exposes the images of infants whose parents were subjects of the investigation.

Speaking to Starr News’ court correspondent Wilberforce Asare, the journalist-cum-lawyer said it will be unfair to subject the minors to public attention when they are only victims of circumstances.

“Well from what I saw in the supposed videos, I think certain ethical and moral values must come to play. There is at least a child or a minor that I saw and I don’t think for records sake it is fair to show that child to the whole world only because a parent had something to do with it,” he stated.

Twenty-two magistrates and judges who were also implicated in the scandal have already been suspended by the Judicial Council.
