CK Akunnor lauds veteran striker Eric Gawu

Dreams FC coach CK Akunnor has praised veteran striker Eric Gawu for his contribution since joining the team.

The former King Faisal player scored the only goal for the Dawu-based side as they defeated Liberty Professionals 1-0 at the Dansoman Park on Sunday in a Ghana Premier League game.

“Gawu is an exceptional player, as old as he is, he has never disappointed us, and we believe in him,” said coach Akunnor

“He is a disciplined person, and he is really helping the young ones in the team so we are very privileged to have him.”

Dreams FC’s victory over Liberty Professionals have moved them to sixth on the table.
