The Promised Land Prayer Camp has organized a week-long workshop for 25 women entrepreneurs at Anum Apapam in the Eastern Region.

The workshop is to help improve on their activities and enhance their livelihoods.

This brings the total number of women trained to more than 460, under the Camp’s initiative aimed at empowering 1,000 women across the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region.

The participants were educated on book keeping, cash and working capital management, persuasive skills and networking.

Prophetess Elizabeth Abredu Quayeba, Head of the Camp, said the programme sought to help women to engage in economic ventures to help improve their livelihood.

She said more than 500 women entrepreneurs from Suhum, Achiansa, Anum Apapam, Asamankese, Dokrochewa and Coaltar, who have been trained, have successfully grown their businesses.

Prophetess Quayeba said small and medium scale enterprises were crucial in job creation and economic development for both the district and municipal communities.

The Prophetess told the Ghana News Agency that the Camp was delighted to assist the current participants with the necessary skills they needed to advance their businesses.
