Agyinasare: I started smoking at age 11

The founder of the Word Miracle International Church now known as the Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyinasare has revealed that he started smoking at age 11 until he got saved by God.

Giving a vivid account of his life in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat Wednesday, the Ghanaian pastor who was dismissed from Nsawam St. Martins school as a student said he, together with some friends supplied marijuana in school.

“I started smoking cigarette at the age of 11 but by the time I was 12, I realized it wasn’t serving my purpose so I went in for Marijuana.

“I was a chain smoker. Cigarette could not get me to do what I wanted to do,” Bishop Agyinasare said Wednesday.

The respected Bishop who got to know Christ through one of his womanizing exploits said he was caught up in sin, alcoholism and drug addiction and a life chasing girls during his youthful days.

According to him, he broke his virginity at age 11 with a relative who stayed with them.

"At a point there was a relative who lived with us...and we did all sorts of things...at a point I believe she was raping me,” he added.
