Aduana Stars defeat Techiman City to top league

Aduana Stars walloped Techiman City by 4-0 in Dormaa in week 28 of the Ghana Premier League.

Goals from Yahaya Mohammed, Daniel Darkwah, Bright Adjei and Derrick Sasraku sent Aduana Stars to the top of the league.

Elsewhere, Liberty Professionals moved three places above the relegation zone after beating League leaders WA All Stars 1-0 at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman. Latif Blessing was on target for Coach George Lamptey’s side.

Eric Donkor’s goal for Kotoko was cancelled by a late equaliser by Medeama forward Bismark Oppong as both team’s shared spoils at the Takwa T&A Park.

Kingsley Adjei and Saliw Babawo were on target as Sekondi Hasaacas beat WAFA 2-1 at the Essipong Stadium.

Togolese international Komlan Agbegniadan got the consolation for WAFA.

Osei Bonsu scored the only goal of the match in New Edubiase’s 1-o win over MTN FA Cup Champions Bechem United.
