FULL LIST OF DEPUTY MINISTERS OUT

Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey
The President, Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor, following the approval by Parliament, has announced the full list of Deputy Ministers and Deputy Regional Ministers.

In a press release signed by the Chief of Staff, Mr. Kojo Mpiani, the following persons were assigned Deputy Ministerial positions. Hon. George Y. Gyan-Baffour, Finance and Economic Planning and Hon. William O. Boafo, Defence Ministry.

Hon. K.T. Hamond was assigned to the Ministry of Interior while Hon. I.K Poku-Adusei was sent to the Ministry of Fisheries.

Hon. Sophia Horner-Sam, Ministry for Ports, Harbour and Railways as well as Clement Eledi and Anna Nyamekye, Ministry of Food and Agriculture.

The Deputy Ministers for Health are now Gladys N. Ashitey and A. Dwuma Odoom. Maxwell Kofi Jumah and A. Awudu Yerimia are Deputy Ministers for Local Government Rural Development and Environment.

Rita Tani Idi and A. Adjei-Yeboah are both Deputy Ministers of Lands, Forestry and Mines.

Deputy Attorney General and Minister for Justice is Mr. K. Osei Prempeh, while Mr. Daniel Dougan is the Deputy Minister for Women and Children Affairs.

Hon. Christopher Addai is Deputy Minister for Water Resources Works and Housing; Hon. Kwame Ampofu Twumasi, Deputy Minister for Energy; Kofi Osei Ameyaw, Deputy Minister for Tourism and Diasporan Relations; C.Y. Brempong-Yeboah, Deputy Minister for Foreign Afairs, Regional Integration and NEPAD; Frank Agyekum, Deputy Minister of Information and National Orientation; Hon. Baiden-Amissah and O.B Amoah Deputy Ministers for Education Science and Sports.

The Deputy Minister for Manpower Youth and Employment is Hon. A. Frema Osei-Opari; F. Opare Ansah is Deputy Minister for Communications.

Hon. Magnus Opare-Asamoah is the Deputy Transport Minister; Gifty Ohene-Konadu, K. Agyeman Manu and Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, are Deputy Ministers for Trade, Industry, Private Sector Development and PSI.

Mercy Bampoe-Addo becomes Deputy Minister, Office of the President.

The list of the Deputy Regional Ministers include, Hon. Osei Asibey Antwi (Ashanti), Hon. Kwadwo Kwakye (Brong Ahafo); Hon. Samuel K. Obodai (Central), Hon. Asamoa Ofosu (Eastern); Hon. Theresah Tagoe (Greater Accra); Hon. Agnes Chigabatia (Upper East) and Hon. Winifred Asibi Deputy-Yankah (Upper West). Volta Region is Hon. Joseph K. Nyan and Hon. Kweku Blay (Western Region).
